While Horton is expected to be fine long term, Seattle is instead banking on key lineman Charles Cross and others getting healthy for a pivotal playoff push. 
• Alaska Airlines Pilot Sues Boeing for $10 Million, Alleging Scapegoating in Door Plug Blowout (aviationsourcenews.com) — A major new lawsuit tied to Boeing’s Renton manufacturing facility alleges the company scapegoated the Alaska Airlines crew after a 737 MAX 9 door plug, improperly reinstalled in Renton, blew out midflight in 2024. The Alaska captain is seeking $10 million for reputational and emotional harm, adding to mounting legal and regulatory pressure on Boeing over MAX safety and quality control.
