Renton Dazzled For SIFF Opening Night And Gala

More than 400 people attended Friday night's opening screening and SIFF gala. The festival runs through May 26.

Renton's own big names were out in force at the SIFF Opening Night and Gala, in addition to Jeff Balis the producer of last night's screening selection, Black White and Blues.

An unofficial estimate of the SIFF Opening Night and Gala crowd said about 450 people showed for the screening at the  and celebratory gala at the .

Balis, who currently makes his home in Los Angeles, was impressed with the crowd, and stuck around after the film to mingle and chat with SIFF attendees at the Gala.
