UPDATE: Renton Double Killing Suspect in Oregon; Police Surround Motel
Lincoln City police say that suspected killer Michael Boysen has asked to be "left alone" in his motel room. More than 30 police have surrounded the small motel.
UPDATE 1:40 p.m.: The Portland Oregonian is reporting that negotiators have been talking to suspected murderer Michael Boysen since 11 a.m. Reportedly, he's asked them to "leave him alone."
About 30 officers surrounded the Westshore Oceanfront Motel. Lincoln City Sheriff Keith Kilian said he is working on a peaceful solution.
"We’re going to use talk at this point to try to resolve this in a peaceful resolution," Kilian said to the Oregonian. "There is no need to go in there after him. He’s by himself."

The man suspected of killing his grandparents in their Fairwood home last week may be in an Oregon motel, the King County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday morning.

"We have information that (Michael) Boysen may be in a motel room in Lincoln City Oregon," sheriff's spokeswoman Cindi West said in an email. "Oregon Swat teams are at the scene. We will not be making any further comments until this situation is resolved."
Early emergency reports indicated the Westshore Oceanfront Motel in Lincoln City has been evacuated. it isn't confirmed yet if this is where Boysen was believed to be staying.
According to MyNorthwest.com, a hotel clerk recognized Boysen's name when he checked using his real ID. The clerk alerted authorities.
Other hotels in the area have been warned of police activity.
"I've also received a message from the local police department asking our guests to shelter in place," hotel clerk Billie Reade told MyNorthwest. Reade works the front desk at the Sandcastle Hotel a few blocks away.
