Renton Drive-In Concert Canceled After Inslee Adds Restrictions

A previously scheduled drive-in concert at The Landing in Renton is postponed, with organizers citing the governor's updated orders.

RENTON, WA — A drive-in concert planned at The Landing this month is postponed until further notice following new guidance on live performances from Gov. Jay Inslee.

Amid a growing trend of coronavirus cases in Washington, the governor on Thursday announced new restrictions, including a ban on live entertainment, both indoors and outdoors.

Earlier this month, The Landing announced a free, drive-in concert with Modern Tribe, scheduled for July 25. On Friday, organizers announced the concert was canceled, with hopes to reschedule at a later date once restrictions have eased.
