UPDATE: Garage Fire Results In More Than $50,000 Loss; Cause Undetermined
Firefighters extinguished the 'fully involved' garage fire within 15 minutes.

The fire investigators have given an undetermined cause for the fire last night. Property loss is approximately $50,000 and contents loss at $70,000.

Original Post — April 28:
Renton Fire and Emergency Service units were dispatched to a structure fire shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday in the 4600 block of NE 1st Street.

The first crew on scene found a large, two-story garage fire. The blaze was knocked down within 15 minutes. An investigation is underway to determine the cause.
There were no injuries as a result of the early morning fire. Patch will update this story later today when more information is available.
