Renton Police Seek Help To Catch Armed Subway Robber

Renton Police released an artists sketch of a man who robbed a Renton Subway at gunpoint.

The Renton Police Department continues to search for a man who is suspected in an of a Renton Subway sandwich shop on Dec. 6.

Around 8:25 p.m., a man wearing a white jacket with dark-patterned sleeves walked into the shop, showed a revolver and ordered the cashier to open the register. After the robber saw that the cashier could not open the register, he took money from the tip jar and fled.

The suspect is described as slim, standing 6-feet to 6-feet-2-inches tall, and light skinned, or possibly African American. The same man is suspected of taking part in other robberies in the Puget Sound area.
