Renton Schools Employees Rescue Duck Family From Danger
The employees rescued the family of ducks Monday morning from school buses and other roadway dangers.

RENTON, WA - A mother duck and her 10 ducklings are safe today after a group of Renton Schools employees saved them. The mother duck and her ducklings were wandering around at the district's transportation office parking lot along Park Avenue North Monday morning, according to the district.
That parking lot is extremely busy with bus activity early in the morning - not to mention nearby to very busy roads like Park Avenue and North 4th Street. The transportation employees gathered up the duck family, put them in a pet crate, and contacted a Renton animal control officer.
The animal control officer relocated the ducks to the Cedar River.
