Officials are looking for someone to install and maintain 120 hanging flower baskets in the Downtown Renton business district, and they're seeking proposals from area residents. Each basket should have "full, vibrant and hearty plant materials," officials said.

The flowers would be displayed from May 15 to Oct. 31 of 2022, 2023 and 2024 on 60 city-owned light poles located on South 2nd, 3rd and 4th Streets; Burnett Avenue South; and Wells Avenue South in Downtown Renton.

Anyone interested is invited to submit a proposal package by Jan. 30. Full guidelines for the proposal can be found here, and city officials will review each one for completeness and compliance with terms and conditions.
