Renton Shopping Center Hosts Drive-Thru Holiday Spectacular
Appearances by musicians, holiday characters, and Santa highlight the contactless event which will take place at The Landing on Saturday.
RENTON, WA – Local residents in search of a safe, festive contactless event are invited to participate in a drive-thru holiday spectacular that will feature laser light shows, musical performances and an appearance by Santa Claus on Saturday.
The Landing, a shopping center located at 828 North 10th Place in Renton, will host the event that will run from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday. The festivities will also include appearances by a host of familiar holiday characters, stilt walkers, giveaways and performances by local singer Lori Lynner as well as American Idol Season 17 contestant Johanna Jones.
Vehicles will enter the shopping center on 10th Place near the Rock Wood Fired Pizza and will be directed to travel no faster than 5 mph. throughout the space, organizers said. No parking is allowed and no one will be permitted to get out of their vehicles during the drive-through event, which will allow the final car to begin the route at 7 p.m. More information about the event can be found here.
