Renton Youth Symphony Spring Concert May 5

Works by Sousa, Danzi, Vaughan Williams, Berlioz, Bizet, Suppé and Tchaikovsky will be performed by the non-profit orchestra at 3 pm, May 5 at the Carco Theatre.

The Renton Youth Symphony Orchestra welcomes the public its annual Spring Concert to mark the beginning of its 26th season on Sunday, May 5, 2013, at 3 p.m. at Carco Theatre.

The concert includes works by Sousa, Danzi, Vaughan Williams, Berlioz, Bizet, Suppé and Tchaikovsky.

The Renton Youth Symphony Orchestra is a non-profit youth organization. Sponsored by the City of Renton Community Services Department, the youth symphony has had a 26-year history of offering South King County youth a classical music education. Under the musical direction of Mr. Alexei Girsh, this education includes a full symphony orchestra experience along with classical and jazz solo/ensemble work.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for seniors, and $5 for students and children.
