Semi Crash Snarls Traffic On Interstate 5 Near Southcenter
State troopers expected an overturned trailer and spilled gravel would create major headaches for southbound drivers Tuesday afternoon.

TUKWILA, WA — A semi-truck headed southbound on Interstate 5 crashed and spilled its load Tuesday afternoon, creating some major delays for drivers in the Southcenter area. According to Washington State Patrol, the crash scene blocked the two left lanes of I-5, right at Interstate 405, just before 3:30 p.m.
WSP shared a photo of the scene showing a big load of gravel spilled across the freeway, and troopers said drivers should expect major delays while cleanup efforts continued. The truck's driver suffered only minor injuries.
