Stolen Car Crashes in Kennydale Neighborhood
One man fled the scene, another is at Harborview Medical Center.

Two men in a car stolen from Bellevue with switched plates crashed early Tuesday in Renton's Kennydale neighborhood.
The car collided with a tree and made such a loud noise that it woke up residents in the 2700 block of Edmonds Avenue Northeast shortly after midnight.
Witnesses said that two men ran from the scene, but only one of them got away.

"His buddy helped him into the woods and then left him," Renton Police Detective Robert Onishi said of the man who received serious injuries. A K9 unit helped locate the injured man, who was hidden in a deep ravine. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Renton Fire and Emergency Services also helped with the search and rescue incident.

Police don't know who either of the men are.
"He won't tell Harborview or us who he is," Onishi said. The man at Harborview also won't say anything about the other man who was with him in the car, he said.
