Fire Displaces Two Heather Apartment Residents, Pets
A fire at the Heather Apartments on North 4th Street is still under investigation.
Shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 9, Renton Fire and Emergency Services responded to a fire at the Heather Apartments located at 816 North 4th Street.
No one was injured as a result of the fire that displaced two residents and their family pets, according to a fire official. The Red Cross is working with the residents to provide temporary housing.
The cause of the fire is unknown, and is currently under investigation.
