This week on Page Turner Animal Adventures we are imagining the worlds of Fantastic Beasts. Gallop into our Summer 2021: Reading Colors Your World challenge on Beanstack to view new adventures each weekday! You’ll find them all in the Activity Badges section. We hope you have a stomping, roaring good time with Page Turner, Kenny, and their friends and special guests! Enjoy this animated musical adventure! When the Intergalactic Library is accidentally unplugged, you must help Kenny and Page on a virtual adventure to find an alien space slug to save the day. Get ready for an out-of-this-world good time! Craft Day: Paper Plate Dinosaurs They roar, chomp, fly, dash, and chase—there’s a lot to love about dinosaurs, especially the ones you create! With a paper plate, some paint, and a toilet paper tube, you can bring these beautiful beasts back from extinction. Illustrator Day: Raissa Figeruoa Artist Raissa Figueroa brings Kelly DiPucchio’s story Oona about a curious mermaid to life with gorgeous underwater illustrations. Raissa lives and works in San Diego, California, where she loves walking the beaches in search of ocean treasures of her own. She’s also the illustrator of We Wait for the Sun, written by Katie McCabe and Dovey Johnson Roundtree. You can visit Raissa’s website at rizzyfig.com. Mashup Day: Frozen Unicorn Horns This magical, frozen treat is fun to eat! We show you how to make this fun recipe with a half of a banana, vanilla yogurt, and colorful sprinkles. Guest Day: Dustin Growick, The Dinosaur Whisperer It is always a dino-mite day with special guest and author Dustin Growick, the dinosaur whisperer. He is the author of Dinosaur A to Z and Utterly Amazing Dinosaur. Today we’re talking to Dustin about all things dinosaur and having a roaring good time!
