The funds were initially planned to be returned to the stabilization fund, but the change in plans was prompted by the need for repairs. The proposed budget amendment also includes funds for the construction of an activity center at City Park Pavilion. The repairs will address ongoing issues with stormwater drainage in the area and move the line off of the private property. The proposed budget revision will be voted on by the council.
