• Governor Morrisey Announces More Than $15.4 Million for Water and Sewer Upgrades, Conservation Efforts - West Virginia Daily News (wvdn.com) — Philippi is set to receive a $1.928 million low-interest state loan to help build a new reservoir in the Little Laurel Run area, providing a 30-day raw water supply for about 1,515 customers. Combined with earlier grants and loans, the full $19.16 million project will significantly strengthen the city’s water security as part of a broader statewide push to upgrade water and sewer systems.
