2 WI Places Among 50 Most Beautiful In U.S.: Condé Nast Traveler

WISCONSIN — Two of the 50 most beautiful places in America are located in Wisconsin, according to the luxury travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler.

The 2025 list of the country’s most beautiful places includes rainforests, beaches, deserts, canyons, forests, lakes, and national parks from one coast to another, as well as Alaska and Hawaii.

Here’s what Condé Nast Traveler’s Caitlin Moore had to say about the Apostles Islands National Lakeshore in Wisconsin:

This 21-mile edge of Lake Superior is a year-round destination for outdoor adventurers: Not only can travelers go kayaking through the wave-carved sandstone cliffs in the warmer months, but people can even walk across the frozen lake and explore the ice caves in the winter.
