Xperience Fitness Announces Closures For All Wisconsin Locations
With locations in Waukesha, Greenfield and beyond, Xperience Fitness on Thursday announced plans to close in Wisconsin.
WISCONSIN — Xperience Fitness on Thursday announced it is closing all of its locations in Wisconsin after 11 years in the state.
In a Facebook post, the fitness club said it was sad to announce the permanent closing which comes after an "incredibly difficult decision." The company lists seven locations around Wisconsin on its website, including ones in Greenfield, Brookfield, Waukesha, West Allis, Hales Corners, Green Bay and Appleton.
"Thank you to all our staff members, trainers and most importantly our amazing members for 11 years of fitness," the company wrote on Facebook. "Our focus is and always will be on our members and we look forward to continuing to serve our Minnesota members. We want to thank you for having allowed Xperience Fitness to be a part of your lifestyle. We wish you the absolute best in the future!"

For some employees at the Greenfield Xperience location, the closure came as a surprise, according to report by CBS 58.
"It's really frustrating being left in the dark on something like losing your job," Employee Xavier Mendoza told the television station. "Not a word was said to any of us."

In an email to its customers, Xperience said memberships will be automatically transferred to a Planet Fitness location, according to a report by The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
