Age 60, late of Joliet, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019, at Silver Cross Hospital. Bob was born in Joliet, the son of the late Robert and Blanche (nee Covington) Magee, and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Joliet West High School with the Class of 1976. Bob attended Arizona State University and received his Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering from Joliet Junior College. He was employed by ArcelorMittal as an electrical technician for the past 28 years and was a proud member of the ABATE of Will County Motorcycle Club. Bob was a Harley Davidson enthusiast and a big fan of The Three Stooges. His passion was being an advocate for all animals; his motto was, “Adopt, don’t shop!”

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Noranne S. Magee of Joliet and his siblings, Linda (Dr. Gary) Hauke of Bayside, WI, Glenna (Robert) Pyzik of Naperville, Kris (Dr. Alec) Hood of McLeansboro, Patrick (Laura) Magee of Joliet, and Jan (Jack) Trubich of Kitty Hawk, N.C. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, his canine companion, Cocoa, and a group of amazing friends also survive.

As it was Bob’s request, cremation rites have been accorded under the care and direction of the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements for a Memorial Service are being coordinated by the family and are incomplete at this time.
