Green Bay man arrested after threatening to ‘shoot up' local bank (wtaq.com) — Police in Green Bay arrested a 27-year-old man Tuesday after he allegedly made a phone threat about shooting up a bank in a nearby community. SWAT and crisis negotiators responded to a Western Avenue residence, nearby schools took precautionary lockdown steps, and the suspect was taken into custody without injuries as charges are prepared for the district attorney. 
2. Green Bay Common Council approves contract for first responder drones (wbay.com) — Green Bay’s Common Council has approved a $1.3 million, five-year contract for first-responder drones and expanded license-plate surveillance, pending a final data-security review. City leaders and residents are weighing faster police response and officer safety against privacy concerns and a $170,000 annual cost increase that will eventually move into the operating budget.
3. Green Bay approves resolution supporting Somali community (wbay.com) — Green Bay’s Common Council has unanimously approved a resolution expressing support for the city’s Somali community after viral videos of a confrontation at Bay Park Square Mall in Ashwaubenon. While it doesn’t change policy, Mayor Eric Genrich says it’s an important public stand with residents who feel threatened by hateful language.
4. Greater Green Bay Chamber celebrates 20 years of ‘The Startup Hub' at NWTC (wearegreenbay.com) — A long-running resource for local entrepreneurs just marked a big milestone at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay. The Startup Hub, launched through a partnership with the Greater Green Bay Chamber, has supported hundreds of small businesses and is credited with boosting survival rates and strengthening the area’s economy over the past 20 years.
5. Evers announces $9.3 million in AmeriCorps funding; Green Bay, Fox Valley groups included (fox11online.com) — Green Bay is getting a boost from new AmeriCorps funding, with 39 members assigned to conservation work and public engagement in local parks and outdoor spaces. Their projects will tackle habitat restoration, invasive species, trail work, and community garden improvements, as part of a $9.3 million statewide investment announced by Gov. Evers.
