• Charges dismissed against suspect in Danz Park stabbing over competency (greenbaypressgazette.com) — A Brown County judge has dismissed, for now, all charges against a 77-year-old man accused of injuring two people with a knife at Danz Park in Green Bay, after a competency evaluation found him not competent and unlikely to regain competency. The case was dismissed without prejudice, meaning charges could be refiled, and the man will be released from jail to a protective placement facility.
   

• Green Bay Alderperson Brian Johnson not running for re-election (wearegreenbay.com) — Green Bay District 9 Alderperson and City Council President Brian Johnson says he will not seek another term, opening up a key council seat for new leadership. Johnson, who also leads On Broadway, Inc., thanked residents and emphasized his belief in term limits and independent decision-making during his years serving Green Bay.
