1 Or More Inch Of Snow Possible: WI Weather

MILWAUKEE — A couple systems will bring over an inch of snow across the Milwaukee area this week.

"A round of light snow is expected across the area this evening into early Wednesday morning. Snow amounts under 1 inch are expected," the National Weather Service said.

"Another round of accumulating snow is expected for Thursday into Thursday night across southern Wisconsin. This may affect the Thursday afternoon and evening commute. The exact track of the low pressure system and resultant snowfall amounts are still uncertain at this time. Keep up with the forecast, and prepare for slick roads and slower travel Thursday into Thursday night."

Tuesday: Snow likely, mainly between midnight and 5am. Cloudy, with a low around 29. Calm wind becoming northwest around 5 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Wednesday Night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 19. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light after midnight.

Thursday: Snow likely, mainly after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 31. Light southwest wind becoming south 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Thursday Night: Snow likely, mainly before midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 24. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.

Friday: A 30 percent chance of snow, mainly before noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 32. North wind 10 to 15 mph.
