13-Year-Old Girl Among Homicide Victims In Violent Milwaukee Weekend
A round of homicides included victims ages 13, 19 and 23 in Milwaukee. There were 17 separate shootings over the weekend, reports said.
MILWAUKEE, WI — Milwaukee police are investigating separate homicides, including a 13-year-old girl, after a round of shootings across the city Saturday and Sunday.
An unknown shooter shot and killed a 13-year-old girl at the 1900 block of S. 5th Place, the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office said in a statement. The post was made around 11:17 p.m.
The girl's death was part of a triple shooting that wounded a 10-year-old and an 18-year-old, TMJ4 reported. The 10-year-old was in stable condition and the 18-year-old had non-life threatening injuries.

A 19-year-old woman was shot and killed in the 6600 block of W. Lisbon Avenue, and a 23-year-old man was shot and killed at the 2700 block of W. Burleigh Street late on Saturday, the Milwaukee Police Department said in a statement.
Before the triple shooting late Sunday, there were 14 shootings over the weekend, TMJ4 reported. The three shootings added to a total of 17 shootings.

There have been 71 homicides in Milwaukee to date in 2022, the medical examiner said.
