14-Year-Old Killed In Crash On Milwaukee's Interstate 794: Reports

The teen driver in a fatal single-vehicle crash on Milwaukee's Interstate 794 Sunday might face charges, media reports said.

MILWAUKEE, WI — A 14-year-old was killed early Sunday morning after she was ejected from a car that crashed on Interstate 794 near Pennsylvania Avenue, according to multiple media reports.

Police from St. Francis spotted a car driving south around 110 mph around 2 a.m., the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office said according to a WISN12 report. Soon after, the car flipped and landed down an embankment, the television station reported.

The 17-year-old driver of the car attempted CPR on the 14-year-old, but the teen was pronounced dead after firefighters arrived, according to a report by CBS58 citing the sheriff's office. The sheriff's office said the driver was taken into custody with pending charges, according to the CBS 58 report.
