16-Year-Old Shot And Killed In Milwaukee: Police
A Milwaukee teen died in the hospital after suffering a single gunshot wound, police said.
MILWAUKEE, WI — A 16-year-old died of gunshot wounds in a Milwaukee hospital on Tuesday, the Milwaukee Police Department announced.
The teen was shot once on the 5200 block of N. 52nd Street around 6:42 p.m., police said in a statement. He was taken to a local hospital where he died of his injuries.
As of Thursday, Milwaukee police haven't identified a suspect and are investigating the shooting, police said.

The teen's family will be notified of what happened, the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner said in a statement.
In a prior statement, officials said the teen was a 25-year-old man. Police later found out he was 16, police said in a statement.
