2 Injured In Stabbing On Layton Avenue In Cudahy: Police

Two people were injured Thursday in Cudahy in a stabbing that was possibly related to domestic violence, police said.

CUDAHY, WI — In an incident that appeared to be domestic violence related, two people were found stabbed in Cudahy Thursday morning, police said.

First responders found a 30-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man, both from Cudahy, injured and bleeding just before 9 a.m. near Layton and Packard Avenues, according to a news release from Cudahy police.

A police officer rendered medical care that may have saved the man's life, while the woman's injuries did not appear life-threatening, police said.

Paramedics from Cudahy transported the man while Saint Francis EMS carried the woman, police said.

An investigation is ongoing but initial information showed the stabbings were related to domestic violence and no danger remains to the public, police said.
