Missing 10-Year-Old Girl In Amber Alert Found Dead: Police
A statewide Amber Alert was issued in Wisconsin Monday night for Dutcher, who went missing and was considered endangered.

BARABOO, WI — Missing ten-year-old Kodie B. Dutcher has been found dead the morning after authorities issued a statewide Amber Alert over her disappearance.
According to a WBAY report from Tuesday at about noon, a search party found Dutcher's body around 11 a.m. Tuesday in a farm field relatively close to her home. Baraboo Police Lt. Ryan LaBroscian delivered the update.

Police in Baraboo said Dutcher was last seen around 4 p.m. on Monday in the 1100 block of 12th Street.
According to the Amber Alert, Emergency Services checked the area, through the night on Monday but did not locate her until Tuesday. K9 units had been called in from across the state, and drone surveillance teams participated in an aggressive search in hopes of finding the girl alive.

"Our focus will now shift to investigating Kodie's death," LaBroscian said during a Tuesday press briefing. "Our thoughts and prayers are with Kodie's family during this difficult time."
Authorities have not identified a cause of death as of noon Tuesday.
