Child, Woman Found Dead In Water Off Brown Deer Road: Police
Authorities pulled the bodies of a 7-year-old and 25-year-old from Northridge Lake off Brown Deer Road Thursday, several media reports said.
MILWAUKEE, WI — Milwaukee firefighters retrieved the bodies of a woman and child from a body of water off Brown Deer Road near 72nd Street on Thursday, according to police.
A person noticed a vehicle was submerged in the water around 12:30 p.m., police said. Firefighters responded to the 7100 block of Brown Deer Road — located just off Northridge Lake — where they found the 7-year-old girl and 25-year-old dead, according to a release from police.
What led up to the deaths remains under investigation, police said.
