Dangerously Cold Wind Chills To Arrive: WI Weather

WISCONSIN — Dangerously cold wind chills are expected to hit Wisconsin this weekend.

"After a relatively mild and windy day, Arctic air will arrive tonight with the passage of a cold front," the National Weather Service said.

"Brisk northwest winds will continue through the weekend with temperatures and wind chills getting progressively colder. Wind chills will be in the -15 to -30 degrees range at times late Saturday night into the middle of next week."

Saturday: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 22. Blustery, with a northwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Saturday Night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 2. Wind chill values between -5 and -15. Northwest wind around 15 mph.

Sunday: Mostly sunny and cold, with a high near 6. Wind chill values between -10 and -15. Northwest wind around 15 mph.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around -5. Northwest wind around 15 mph.

M.L.King Day: Mostly sunny and cold, with a high near 4. West wind around 15 mph.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around -8. West wind 10 to 15 mph.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny and cold, with a high near 3. West wind 10 to 15 mph.
