MILWAUKEE, WI — Milwaukee Police and Sheriff's deputies are making arrests on I-43 Friday afternoon after people protesting the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis clogged a stretch of interstate on Milwaukee's north side.
An organized protest and demonstration was held earlier Friday near the area of N. 27th Street and Center Street after Floyd, an African-American man, died while in police custody in Minneapolis on Monday.
According to a JSOnline report, once the rally concluded, some people gathered began to march from the rally site toward the freeway.
