At Least One Dead In I-43 Crash Thursday
The northbound lanes of I-43 were temporarily shut down early Thursday morning for a crash that killed at least one person, officials said.

MILWAUKEE, WI — The northbound lanes of I-43 were temporarily shut down early Thursday morning near Chase Ave. after an early-morning crash on the interstate.
Milwaukee County Sheriff's officials said at least one person died in the crash. All lanes of traffic reopened just after 6 a.m., according to a FOX 6 report.
Sheriff's officials have yet to release details in Thursday morning's crash. Wisconsin Patch will update this story as more information becomes available.

MCSO is reporting closures northbound on I-43 north of Rosedale due to a fatal crash. All traffic is being diverted northbound to Holt Ave. Reduce speeds for first responders. Please choose an alternative route.
