Light Snowstorms Could Blanket Region: WI Weather

MILWAUKEE — A pair of storms could provide some light snow for the region just in time for Christmas.

"Light snow is forecast for Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning, which may affect the Wednesday morning commute," the National Weather Service said.

"Another round of more concentrated light snow may move through the area Thursday into Thursday night."

Patch will provide ongoing coverage of the storms expected Tuesday and Thursday.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 39. West wind 5 to 15 mph.

Tuesday Night: Snow likely, mainly after midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 27. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of snow before noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 32. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 17. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light after midnight.

Thursday: Snow likely, mainly after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 31. Light and variable wind becoming south 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Thursday Night: A 50 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 22. South wind around 10 mph becoming north after midnight.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of snow. Partly sunny, with a high near 30.

Friday Night: A 20 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 14.

Saturday: A 20 percent chance of snow. Mostly sunny, with a high near 25.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 12.
