Lizzo Asks Fans For Footage Of Alleged Security Guard Attack
The star says a "bigoted" security guard tackled, "slapped and manhandled" members of her crew, including her stylist.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Singer and Summerfest headliner Lizzo is asking festival officials to cooperate in dealing with what she said was a bigoted security guard, she said in a tweet. She added she's asking fans to send in any footage of the alleged incident.
"Racism and bigotry don’t care if you’re a headliner," the star tweeted in criticizing the guard, while praising the crowd.
She said the security guard slapped and manhandled her hair stylist.

Summerfest responded the same day on Twitter, saying they're investigating the incident.
"While there may be challenges during a performance, we expect those challenges to be handled professionally & respectfully. If those standards were not met, we will take appropriate action," they said.
