MILWAUKEE, WI β€” The Lux Domes will be returning to the rooftop of Cafe Benelux in 2019, restaurant owners said Friday. The six private, heated domes sold out almost immediately last season due to their popularity.

The domes β€” whose official first day of operation will be Black Friday, Nov. 29 β€” will operate similar to last year, but include updated food and beverage packages and include more slots available for rent as well.

Each $200, 90-minute reservation for eight includes a complimentary drink package as well as special keepsake mugs for guests, with the ability to add on a variety of additional festive food and beverage packages to help celebrate the season.

β€œWe took a gamble last year on the hunch that people in Milwaukee were looking for more adventurous dining experiences,” said Dan Herwig, director of brand and marketing for Lowlands Group. β€œPeople want to get out and enjoy winter, and the domes give them a totally unique way to do that.”

Reservations for the domes will open in a few weeks and are expected to fill up quickly. People interested in making a reservation are encouraged to sign up for the Lowlander email list on the luxdomes.com website. An email will be sent out with links to the online reservation system 24 hours in advance to being open to the public.
