Milwaukee's Walmart Employees Share $709,500 of $157M Company Kitty

MILWAUKEE — More than 3,100 Walmart employees in Milwaukee are among 850,000 in the U.S. receiving a share of around $157 million in cash bonuses this month.

Fox 6 reported Wednesday that the local payouts hit staff members' March 9 paychecks. The bonuses were reportedly thanks to stores' fourth-quarter earnings.

"Workers in Milwaukee will share more than $709,500, from more than $3.1 million in Wisconsin," the article said. "The bonuses come on the heels of Walmart U.S. recording its strongest comp sales performance of the year in the fourth quarter at 1.8 percent."
