NCAA March Madness Basketball Tournament: Badgers Face Indiana Hoosiers Friday Night In Big Ten Tournament
The Badgers begin their March Madness postseason journey tonight when they tip off against Indiana in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinal.

WASHINGTON, DC — Ranked No. 24 in the country, the Wisconsin Badgers will most likely go to the Big Dance, but first, they face the Indiana Hoosiers in a quarterfinal of the Big 10 Tournament.
The second-seeded Badgers hope to straighten things out against the 10-seeded Hoosiers Friday night. Wisconsin lost five of its last six games closing out the regular season with a record of 23-8.
The 18-14 overall Hoosiers advanced to Friday's game after beating Iowa on Thursday, 95-73.

At the time of this writing, eight-seeded Michigan advanced to the semifinals after beating the No. 1 seed, Purdue. If Wisconsin beats Indiana, it would advance to the semifinals and face the winner of the Maryland-Northwestern game.
Almost immediately following the Big Ten Championship, the field of 68 teams will be chosen. The Big Ten Championship game tips off at 3 p.m. ET at The Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. This is the first time the Big Ten Tournament has been held in the nation's capital.
Pre-tourney NCAA Tournament Bracketology has the Badgers seeded at No. 6 in the Midwest with first- and second-round games being played in Indianapolis. The Badgers could receive a higher seed if they win the Big Ten Tournament.
