Snowy Roads, Power Outages In Milwaukee Area: Winter Weather Advisory
People should plan for snow-covered roads during their morning commute in southeast Wisconsin, forecasters said.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Heavy snowfall is expected to fall on roads across southeast Wisconsin on Monday morning, the National Weather Service announced.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for east central, south central and southeast Wisconsin until 12 p.m. on Monday, forecasters said. Snow between 2 and 4 inches is expected to accumulate in Milwaukee.
"More snow arrives from the west over the next few hours, with heavier rates expected during the morning commute," forecasters said in a Facebook post. "Be sure to modify your plans as needed to account for snow covered roads."

Power outages left around 2,400 people without electricity in the northwest side of Milwaukee, the We Energies outage map showed at 8:45 a.m. Sporadic outages were spread across the southern parts of Milwaukee and Waukesha counties.
Flurries are expected from 1-2 p.m. after the winter weather advisory is over. Cloudy skies are expected Monday night and sunshine is expected Tuesday.

Here's the forecast for the rest of the week.
Monday: Snow before 1 p.m., then a chance of flurries between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. High near 34. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Monday Night: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 19. West wind 5 to 10 mph.
Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 42. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph.
Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 25. Southwest wind around 10 mph becoming west after midnight.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 37. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 22. North wind around 5 mph.
Thursday: A 20 percent chance of snow after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 33. Northeast wind around 10 mph.
Thursday Night: Snow likely. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 21. North wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.
Friday: A 50 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 30.
Friday Night: A 40 percent chance of snow, mainly before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 13.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 26.
Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 15.
