Racine Man Found With 'White, Powdery' Substance Nestled in Folded Dollar Bill: Police
Racine police arrested a local man on Sunday who they say was in possession of a controlled substance.

A 48-year-old Racine man was arrested Sunday on narcotics charges after police reportedly found heroin and cocaine in his home.
Luis M. Gonzalez is facing one count of possession of a controlled substance, a Class I felony punishable by up to three years in prison. If convicted, Gonzalez could also be required to pay up to $10,000 in fines.
Police say they were dispatched on Sunday to the defendant's residence in the 600 block of High Street in Racine. When conducting their search, officers found a dollar bill in Gonzalez's pocket that contained slightly more than 1 gram of a "white powdery substance," according to the police report. The substance tested positive for heroin and cocaine, they said.
