Record Heat Likely This Week: WI Weather

MILWAUKEE, WI — Expect high temperatures to be well above average this week, with temperatures approaching 50 degrees on Thursday.

"Unseasonable warmth expected today and continues through midweek with daily highs in the 40s and maybe cracking 50°F at times," the National Weather Service said.

"Breezy winds will accompany the warmth. Outside of maybe a few sprinkles this evening, it is looking dry through much of midweek as well."

Today: Increasing clouds, with a high near 43. Windy, with a southwest wind 15 to 20 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 23. Breezy, with a northwest wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 42. Northwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming southwest in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 30. West wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 37. Breezy, with a northwest wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 24. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southwest after midnight.
