Shooting Damages Vehicle On Interstate 94 In Milwaukee: Sheriff
Interstate 94 was briefly closed Wednesday near the Marquette Interchange after a vehicle was damaged in a shooting, authorities said.

MILWAUKEE, WI — A vehicle was damaged in a shooting Wednesday morning on Interstate 94 near the Marquette Interchange in Milwaukee, though nobody was injured, according to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities closed the westbound lanes of the highway past the interchange, including the James Lovell and 2nd Street onramps, the sheriff's office said in a tweet. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation reported the closures around 10 a.m.
Authorites said they reopened the highway by 10:45 a.m., though the investigation remained active, the sheriff's office said. The Wisconsin State Patrol was also called in for the incident.

The incident comes after a shooting in late November closed the interstate briefly at Hawley Road.
