Stolen Car Crashes Into School Bus In Milwaukee, Injuring Child: Cops

One child was hospitalized after a stolen car crashed into a school bus in Milwaukee near Green Tree Road and 80th Street, police said.

MILWAUKEE, WI — A stolen car that was driving recklessly crashed into a school bus just before 9 a.m. Monday in near Milwaukee's Morse School for the Gifted and Talented, according to police.

It happened in the 6700 block of North 80th Street. An 11-year-old boy on the bus had to be hospitalized but was expected to survive injuries from the crash, police said. Meanwhile, a 15-year-old boy who was in the car suffered life-threatening injuries and was brought to a hospital, police said.

Several other people inside the car ran away after the crash, police said.
