2 Children Shot For Throwing Snowballs At Car: Report
Police say a 12-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy were shot by the driver of a passing car after it was hit by snowballs.
MILWAUKEE, WI — Two children were shot in Milwaukee over the weekend after police say they were throwing snowballs at passing cars and a driver retaliated with gunfire.
Authorities are searching for the driver of a white Toyota after he reportedly fired several gunshots into a group of children who were throwing snowballs at cars Saturday.
Police said they were called to the 6100 block of West Birch Street just before 8 p.m. on a report that a 12-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy had been shot by the driver of a passing car.

Police said they found the two children wounded by gunfire and immediately provided first aid. The two were taken to a nearby hospital and are recovering, police said.
Police learned that the two victims were with a group of other children who were throwing snowballs at cars passing by.

Police said one of the snowballs struck a white Toyota, and the driver of the auto fired shots into the group of children, striking the two victims.
