2 Dead As Wind Spreads Fire To 4 Milwaukee Homes: Report
A fire reported in Milwaukee Wednesday that heavily damaged four homes came amid record-setting heat.

MILWAUKEE, WI — A fire near South 19th and Burnham Street on Milwaukee's south side Wednesday spread to four homes and killed two people, according to reports from several media outlets.
The fire came amid record-setting temperatures, plus winds that fire officials said likely helped spread the flames from one home to three more, according to reports by The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and television stations. An official described three of the homes as total losses, according to the newspaper.
The American Red Cross of Wisconsin said it was helping 13 people displaced by the fire in the immediate aftermath.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified those killed as a 16-month-old girl and a 27-year-old woman, according to WISN12.
