Wisconsin is experiencing its second consecutive December full of unseasonably warm winter weather.

MILWAUKEE — Most Wisconsinites may need to trade their dreams of a white Christmas for a brown one this year. The latest two-week temperature outlook from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) predicts a stretch of above-average temperatures across the state.

Historically, the Milwaukee area has about a 50 percent chance of a white Christmas. But with warmer conditions dominating the forecast, the chances of accumulating snow appear slim— unless Mother Nature decides to surprise us in the days before Christmas.

When it comes to precipitation, most of Wisconsin can anticipate "near-normal" levels.
