Deceased Person Found In Oak Creek's Victoria Motel: Report

OAK CREEK, WI — Authorities in Oak Creek say one person is dead after a fire was reported at the Victoria Motel on Tuesday.

According to the Oak Creek Fire Department, fire fighters were called to the motel on a report of smoke inside one of the motel's buildings at just after noon on Tuesday.

While firefighters quickly put out the fire, first responders found the body of a person inside the building.

According to a CBS 58 report, a deceased person was found in a different unit than the one where the fire broke out. A WTMJ report states that the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office explained that it appeared that the deceased person died of natural causes.
