Drunk Driver Said 'Windows Fogged Up' Before She Hit Pole: Report
Both the driver and her 11-year-old passenger were uninjured as a result of the crash, police said.

OAK CREEK, WI —Police in Oak Creek say a woman drove drunk with an 11-year-old child in the car, and told officers that she couldn't see while driving because the car windows had fogged up.
According to Oak Creek police call logs, an officer was at the Kwik Trip when they saw the driver of a vehicle crash into a traffic signal pole in the median of College Ave. and just east of S. 27th Street at just before 3 a.m. on Jan. 1.
Police said the driver hit the traffic pole, causing it to fall into the east lanes of traffic.

Police said the driver appeared to be intoxicated. She submitted to a preliminary breath test, which returned a blood alcohol concentration of 0.12 - greater than the legal limit for drunken driving in Wisconsin.
According to call logs, the driver told police her windows had fogged up, and she couldn't see while driving, leading to the crash. Both she and her 11-year-old passenger were uninjured as a result of the crash, police said.
