Motorcyclist Injured in Accident, Arrested for DUI
Police say a 51-year-old man landed 25 feet away from his motorcycle after an accident Wednesday night on Puetz Road.

A 51-year-old Oak Creek man was ejected from his motorcycle in an accident on Puetz Road and taken to Froedtert Hospital, where he was arrested for drunken driving.
According to an report, the man was eastbound in the 1700 block of W. Puetz Road about 11:35 p.m. Wednesday when he skidded about 155 feet.
The man landed about 25 feet away from the motorcycle. When police arrived, he was bleeding from the head and had trouble breathing. He sustained injuries to his face and left arm.

The man was not wearing a helmet, according to the report.Â
Oak Creek paramedics took him to Froedtert Hospital. The man smelled slightly of alcohol and told police he had a few beers at a bar prior to the accident, according to the police report.

He told police he could not remember the bar he was at.
Police arrested him for drunken driving at the hospital and ordered him to come to the Oak Creek police station after medical clearance.
Officials drew a blood sample and sent it to the state crime lab.
