Multiple Road Construction Projects This Week In Oak Creek
Several roads are being repaved or improved this week in Oak Creek. Construction started Monday, with more to come next week.
OAK CREEK, WI — Several roads in Oak Creek will be closed to through traffic for the remainder of this week because of construction and repairs, according the the City of Oak Creek website.
A Facebook post from the City of Oak Creek Government said that access to residences in these areas will be maintained, but through traffic and street parking is not allowed.
Construction started Monday on Montana Avenue, Madison Avenue, Lynhaven Drive, Chapel Drive, Oakwood Road, Groveland Drive, and 10th Avenue & County Line Road, the Oak Creek website said. Many of the projects will be completed this week, but some will last through until at least July 30, according to the Oak Creek website.

Work will continue next week on Oakwood Road, Groveland Drive, and 10th Avenue & County Line Road. Separate construction will also begin the week of July 26 on Elm Road, Meadowbiew Drive, McGraw Drive and Oak Lane, according to the Oak Creek construction schedule.
Here is what is getting an update on each road this week:
Montana Avenue, Madison Avenue, Lynhaven Drive and Chapel Drive - Will receive complete repairs to pavement and asphalt paving.

Oakwood Road - Will receive asphalt pavement milling and asphalt paving.
Groveland Drive - Will receive curb & gutter repair, and asphalt paving.
10th Avenue & County Line Road - Will receive asphalt pavement patching.
Construction next week will include:
Oak Wood Road will receive a gravel shoulder.
Groveland Drive will receive pavement and surface sealing.
10th Avenue & County Line Road will receive pavement surface sealing.
Elm Road, Meadowview Drive, McGraw Drive and Oak Lane will receive asphalt pavement milling and asphalt paving.
