Oak Creek Man Totaled Car Stolen from Grandmother: Police

The 20-year-old man faces a felony charge after he stole his grandmother's car and got into an accident last October.

Police say an Oak Creek man stole his grandmother’s car and ended up totaling it in an accident last fall.

Devin Huntoon, 20, was charged Thursday with one felony count of driving or operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent.

On Oct. 23, Huntoon’s grandmother reported her SUV stolen from her home in the 8500 block of South Breaburn. She told police Huntoon was responsible for the theft, and that he drove the car to Milwaukee where he got into a car accident. As a result of the crash, the car was a total loss, according to the criminal complaint.
