Police Catch Pick 'n Save Theft Duo With $575 In Liquor
Police said the two people implicated in a liquor theft initially told police that their co-conspirator paid for the liquor.

OAK CREEK, WI — Authorities in Oak Creek say two people implicated in a liquor theft initially told police that their co-conspirator paid for the liquor they were caught with outside the store.
According to Oak Creek police call logs, officers were called to the Pick 'n Save at 6462 S. 27th Street at just after 6 p.m. on Jan. 5 on a report of a liquor theft.
Police call logs stated that a store employee contacted police after a man and a woman tried walking out of the store with $575 in liquor in a shopping cart.

Police said they quickly tracked down the two shoplifters According to call logs, each of them initially insisted that the other person paid for all the liquor that was in their shopping cart. Police determined that neither one paid for the liquor.
According to call logs, a 40-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested and cited for retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police also reported that a 47-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested on two warrants, one with the Milwaukee County Sheriff's office and the Waukesha County Sheriff's office.
